Ho Tung Three Treasures
First Treasure - Gong
Hotungnian will hit the gong three times.
The first time is before orientation camp to show their determination.
The second time is after orientation camp to affirm their identity of Hotungnian.
The last time is when they graduate.
The gong is sacred in Lady Ho Tung Hall.
We have a traditional event - gong fight with Ricci hall every year.
It started because a group of Riccian came and stole our gong many years ago. We threw water bag towards them and got back our gong. From that time, we keep this traditional event every year.
There is a scene about gong fight in the movie 'City of Glass'.
Second Treasure - Grassland
We have a little grassland behing our hall.
There is a quiet and comfortable place.
Sometimes, hall mates may come here and have a barbecue together
Third Treasure - Airland mattress
Only Lady Ho Tung Hall has Airland mattresses,
while other halls do not.
Comparatively, Airland mattresses are much more comfortable.
Why do we have Airland mattress?
It is because the daughter of the owner of Airland lived in Lady Ho Tung Hall before. Her father agreed to sponsor mattresses for all hall mates in Lady Ho Tung Hall and still keep sponsoring now.
